Come cheer on the chefs from your favorite Little Rock restaurants (and maybe get a few samples) during the preliminaries of the Diamond Chef competition sponsored by Pulaski Technical College Foundation. Here's the schedule for today (Wed., March 3) at the Peabody Little Rock Lobby Bar:

12:30 p.m. — Brian Deloney of Maddie's Place vs. Jason Godwin of Simply the Best

1:30 p.m. — Timothy Morton of Restaurant 1620 vs. Jason Knapp of Pulaski Technical College's Big Rock Bistro

2:30 p.m. — Diana Bratton of Cafe 1217 in Hot Springs vs. Daniel Capello of Chenal Country Club

3:30 p.m. — Jacob Peck of Forty Two vs. Donnie Ferneau of Ferneau

Judges are Jim Montgomery, Mary Beth Ringgold and Don Bingham. Techncial judge is Peabody Little Rock chef Andre Poirot. 

Winners of Heats 1 and 2 will compete in semifinals at 5 p.m.; winners of Heats 3 and 4 will compete at 6 p.m. Good luck and bon appetit!
