Recently retired baby boomers tell us they have nothing to do. One retired executive is climbing the walls. He told us he offered his services as a volunteer to nonprofits and he can’t even get a call returned.

 We have the solution if you are in good health and your passion is helping people. It’s never too late to join the Peace Corps. There are approximately 7,500 Peace Corps volunteers, five percent of whom are aged 50 and older. And don’t forget, Lillian Carter, Jimmy Carter’s mom, joined when she was 70.
