The finish is in sight for these runners during a recent running of the Little Rock Marathon.
If you live in downtown Little Rock, Hillcrest, Riverdale, and anywhere in between, your mobility between 8 a.m. and noon today (March 4) may be affected by the Little Rock Marathon, as route streets are shut down to vehicle use and cross streets allow only intermittent chances to crossing the route streets.

So plan ahead — if you need to be somewhere this morning, you might want to leave early. If you don't need to be anywhere, make sure you've stocked up on coffee, croissants, reading material, or whatever it takes to get you through a pleasant Sunday morning at home.
Want to cheer on the runners? Come to Pulaski Heights Baptist Church, 2200 Kavanaugh Blvd. (Cedar and Kavanaugh) from 8 a.m.-noon for a front-row seat to watch the marathoners head west on Kavanaugh.
The church will provide a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. along with bells, noisemakers, flags and balloons. A kids' fun run (pre-K through grade 5) will be held at 9:30 p.m. on the front sidewalk, with medals awarded to all participants. For more information call (501) 661-1129.
