It's easy to get around at Earth Day — just follow the signs!

Gateway to Green is the theme of this year's Arkansas Earth Day Festival from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. today at North Little Rock's North Shore Riverwalk. Enjoy live music by six local bands, festival food, kids' activities, and exhibits and workshops on living responsibly. 

A kids' area will feature the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission's fish tank, the Arkansas National Guard climbing wall, games, painting and crafts, and fun educational opportunities on conservation and recycling.

Heifer International and other environmentally conscious non-profits, businesses and food vendors will host booths at this no-styrofoam, no plastic bottle event, in which every effort will be made to reuse and recycle the waste the festival creates.
