This might not be for everybody, but it should certainly be informative: A sheep brain dissection, going on Saturday (March 20) at Museum of Discovery, will allow visitors to see parts of the brain and learn how it functions as the control center of the body.
Beat. Breathe. Think. is being held Saturday in conjunction with National Brain Awareness Day with special demonstrations presented by the Arkansas Chapter for the Society for Neuroscience.
Throughout the day, visitors can watch demonstrations, participate in experiments and learn about the circulatory, respiratory and nervous systems as well as the importance of good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
The first 200 visitors will get in free. Regular admission is $8 for adults, $7 for children and senior citizens. Saturday hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
