Bowling for Rhinos happens tonight at Millennium Bowl.
One of the attractions of bowling is that almost anyone can do it. Maybe not as well as others, but enough to have a good time. And sometimes a new bowler — no matter what his age or fitness level — demonstrates an as-yet-undiscovered talent for the game.
Maybe that's you. How do you know if you don't try? Here's where:
Millennium Bowl, 7200 Counts Massie Road, North Little Rock, (501) 791-9150, is a technologically advanced bowling facility with 32 lanes, full bar, restaurant, game room, and pro shop. Along with open bowling and league bowling, it offers party packages for birthdays, office outings, and special events, which can be booked on line.
Open bowling is available all day on weekends. Price is $3.50 per game per person, or $20 per hour per lane. If you want to go during the week, open bowling is available before 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Cost is $3.15 per game per person or $16 per hour per lane.
The lanes open at noon Sundays and 9 a.m. Mondays-Saturdays and close when all the bowlers leave.
