Samsung 3D TV is available at Best Buy.

 

Are you the sort of person who has to have stuff before anybody else does? You'd better start thinking about getting a 3D television.

Best Buy is offering a 55-inch Samsung 3D HDTV for $2,969.99. If you buy one, you'll also need a 3D Blu-ray disc player, so you might as well pick up Samsung's 3D Blu-ray Disc Player with Wifi (so you can stream Netflix and Pandora) for $399.99. If you buy both the TV and the disc player, Best Buy will throw in a 3D starter kit with a two-pack of battery-operated 3D glasses and the animated film Monsters Vs. Aliens in 3D Blu-ray.

For another $49 or so, Best Buy's Geek Squad will come to your house and set up your TV and Blu-ray player, connect them to your wireless network and sync your 3D glasses. Total cost: $3,419.96.
