A review by the Arkansas Business staff says that you can enjoy a relaxed and well-prepared lunch with colleagues that won't take up more than a reasonable length of time at Starving Artist Cafe in North Little Rock.
The lunch menu at Starving Artist keeps it simple. Soups, heaping salads and panini sandwiches constitute the bulk of the offerings, though the special entrée of the day - pecan-crusted trout with brown butter - sounded appetizing. One diner ordered spinach and feta crepes ($7), which she said were very tasty, but a bit on the runny side. Garlic roasted potatoes made for a delicious and piping hot side dish. A tuna and sharp cheddar panini ($7) was a little on the small side for another diner, but the flavor was spot on. At least one member of our party expressed befuddlement at the notion of cheese on a tuna sandwich, but was reassured by the others that this is fairly common practice.
