Life magazines are among the finds at a sale going on through May 1 at 1111 W. Third St., Little Rock.

Jim Smith has a lot of stuff -- a 3,000-square-foot warehouse full of it. He's trying to whittle it down by having a monthly sale at 1111 W. Third St. just west of Chester Street in Little Rock. Stop by from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily through Saturday (Aug. 28) for great prices on:

Furniture, silverware, records, comics, old newspapers, art, prints, photos, posters, Life and Look magazines, complete sets of dishes, paperbacks and hardbound books, picture frames and much, much more.

New items are added daily during the sale, which starts out at full price on the first day then is reduced by 10 percent every day thereafter.

There are brightly colored signs posted around the building when the sale is going on.

The building, which once housed Franke's Bakery, will be auctioned at 10 a.m. Sept. 16.
