Need a reason to sort through the stuff in your attic, basement or garage? Here's a good one. Treasure Hunters Roadshow is in Little Rock this week, looking to buy all sorts of collectibles.

They're interested in 1950s and '60s electric and acoustic guitars, gold and silver, coins made before 1964, toys made before 1965, military items, advertising items, watches, fine and costume jewelry, sports memorabilia, and comic books.

Representatives will be at Hilton Little Rock Metro Center, 925 S. University Ave., Little Rock. Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. today through Friday (Feb. 4) and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 5). For directions call (501) 664-5020. For Roadshow information call (217) 726-7590.

Here's how it works: Bring in your items; no appointment is necessary. Representatives will consult a collectors database to see if a buyer exists. If there is, an offer will be made on the spot. If you accept the offer you will be paid and the item will be shipped to the collector. The collector pays all shipping and handling charges.
