Blake Rutherford on this week's Movies in the Park selection, "Over The Hedge." The free screening starts at sundown on Wednesday at Riverfront Park in Little Rock.
The family-friendly animated comedy Over the Hedge is screening at sundown today (July 14) at Riverfest Amphitheatre in Little Rock's Riverfront Park as part of Movies in the Park. Admission is free.
Here's the story: A scheming raccoon (voice of Bruce Willis) fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food stolen from a hibernating bear (voice of Nick Nolte) by invading the new suburban sprawl that popped up while they were hibernating, and learns a lesson about family himself.
The park opens at 6:30 p.m. Bring lawn chairs (or sit in the amphitheatre seats) and coolers if you'd like (alcoholic beverages are OK, but no glass containers, please). Concessions will be available for purchase. Free bug spray can be found at the concession stands.
