Kaleidoscope Resale Boutique, 3608 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock, is an upscale shop that offers a terrific one-price system to make shopping easy. Women's dresses are $9. Women's pants are $6. Women's sweaters are $8. Name brands abound. And there are clothes for men and children as well as housewares, shoes, books and more. Everything I saw during a recent visit was in perfect condition. 

The shop (formerly called Angels in the Attic) is operated by Kaleidoscope of Caring, Inc. Profits benefit children grief programs. 

Wednesdays are Book Days (25 percent off all books). Thursdays are Senior Days (25 percent off everything except food items).

Hours are 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday; it's open until 8 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month during the Hillcrest Shop 'n' Sip. Donations are always welcome (and are tax deductible).

And if the store gets a large quantity of donations, it will stage a half-price sale, usually on weekends. Imagine -- a flawless silk dress from Chico's for $4.50, stylish dress pants from The Limited for $3, a tailored twin set from Talbot's for $8. Wow.
