Lunch at Cafe Bossa Nova
Black beans lose their homely image in delicious dishes at Cafe Bossa Nova, according to a business lunch review in Arkansas Business:
Simply put, they are more delicious than many people would imagine a humble legume could be. They're served as a side dish, as an entrée with rice, tomato slaw and collard green salad (arroz com feijão, $10), or with slaw and salad plus two eggs, sunny side up or scrambled (mineirinho, $12.25).
Some might say that's a bit steep for beans, and they might be right. But those people probably haven't tried the beans at Bossa Nova.
The Hillcrest restaurant, under the direction of chef/owner Rosalia Monroe, specializes in authentic Brazilian cuisine.
