An excerpt:
The Arkansas Studies Institute is a joint project of the Central Arkansas Library System and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. It also houses the Clinton School of Public Service, and its vast archival holdings make it a premier site for research on Arkansas history. East-Harding Inc. served as general contractor for the project. The design reflects the pages of an open book through multiple curved walls and functional glass sun control fins on the building's west wall.
In addition, Polk Stanley received an Honor Citation, the second-highest recognition, for its work on Heifer International's Murphy Keller Education Center, which weaves wetlands with exhibits, expanding environmental stewardship while serving as a symbol of hope for world hunger efforts. CDI Contractors served as general contractor for the building.
