A book signing for A Little Rock Boyhood: Growing Up in the Great Depression by A. Cleveland Harrison will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday (May 13) at the Darragh Center of the Main Library, 100 Rock St., Little Rock.

Published by Butler Center Books, A Little Rock Boyhood is an insightful look back at a time, a place and a childhood as it follows the experiences of the Harrison family and their Little Rock neighbors during the 1930s-'40s.

The book will be available for purchase at the signing event. 

Harrison, who worked in educational theater for 45 years, is the author of Unsung Valor: A GI’s Story of World War II, published by the University Press of Mississippi, and has written extensively for the Pulaski County Historical Review. He lives in Auburn, Ala.
