The Center for Management and Executive Education at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is offering courses this fall targeted at business professionals.

Registration fees, times and locations vary by program. More information is available by calling (479) 575-2856. Discounts are available for some programs for teams from the same organization, nonprofits, and others.

Fall courses that will be offered include:

Emerging Leaders Program -- uses an introspective and experiential approach to examine the leadership capacities of individual attendees, increase their ability to develop robust leadership skills and demonstrate greater organizational understanding.

Managerial Leadership Program -- empowers managers with the tools necessary to be more effective and proficient leader.

POS (Point of Sale) and Demand Forecasting -- teaches participants ways to determine the appropriate forecasting method and how to apply it, to identify errors in existing forecasting approaches, to explain and interpret forecasting error, and to compare forecast accuracies.

Certificate Program in Leadership, Faith and Spirituality -- certifies people in the emerging field of leadership, faith and spirituality in this first of its kind program.

Finance for Non-Financial Managers -- helps managers evaluate a unit's financial performance, better communicate with internal and external financial officers, and make sound financial decisions.

Mentoring in a Day -- provides participants with an introductory framework that will help them build a mentoring program and create internal and external value.

Transformational Women -- inspires women to be bold, courageous leaders of change through the expansion of personal awareness and the development of strategic leadership behaviors that accelerate personal satisfaction and professional success.

Founded in 1984, the Center for Management and Executive Education provides professionals with innovative experiences to enhance abilities in facing a demanding and ever-changing workplace. Programs can be delivered on the University of Arkansas campus using state-of-the-art facilities, on-site at a business, or through the Web.
