Tusk III, Arkansas Razorbacks' mascot, will be among the attractions at RazorRock.

RazorRock, which debuted in 2009 as a weeklong football rally, will return Sept. 6-11 in advance of the Razorback Football Team’s first Little Rock game of the 2010 season against Louisiana-Monroe at 6 p.m. Sept. 11.

The 17 events of RazorRock will include a pep rally in the Riverfest Amphitheatre at 7 p.m. Sept. 10, followed by a Night of Arkansas Music concert presented by The Oxford American magazine.

The rally will feature the University of Arkansas Razorback Marching Band as well as the Cheerleaders and Pom Squad. Tusk III, the Razorback mascot, will make his Little Rock debut.

The first live performance of the new single Woo Pig Fever from Little Rock/Los Angeles-based country comedy band 10 Horse Johnson will take place, which will lead into The Oxford American Presents A Night of Arkansas Music. Concert performers include The Salty Dogs, Jim Mize and True Soul Revue.

  • RazorRock Bike Rally, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 6
  • RazorRock Foodie Festival, 4-7:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Dickey-Stephens Park
  • RazorRock Movie Night with a screening of War Eagle, Arkansas, 7:45-10 p.m. Sept. 6 at Dickey-Stephens Park
  • Arkansas Arts Foundation’s RazorRock Spirits: A Night of Art and Soul, 5-7:p.m. Sept. 7 at Argenta Arts District
  • RazorRock After Hours at the Little Rock Zoo, 5-7 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Little Rock Zoo (advance tickets are $10 and are available by clicking here)   

University of Arkansas at Fayetteville colleges and alumni groups will host at least six events in the region during the week.
