The Boondogs are among the bands that will help Vino's celebrate its 20th anniversary on Sept. 18.
Seven local bands who were often found on the stage at Vino's over the years will help celebrate the brewpub's 20th anniversary Saturday (Sept. 18).
"It'll be a trip down memory lane," says Vino's general manager Chris New, who's spent a year arranging for former Vino's headliners to take the stage starting at 7 p.m. that night.
Among them: Ashtray Babyhead, the Baileys (the first time they've played together in 12 or 13 years, New says), Big Boss Line, the Boondogs, Gino Delray, Living Sacrifice and Ho-Hum.
The show, in keeping with Vino's tradition, will be all ages. Cover charge will be what Vino's regulars paid in the good old days: $5.
To keep the crowd fortified for a long night of music and nostalgia, prices for cheese and pepperoni slices will be the same -- $1 and $1.25, respectively -- as they were when the club opened in 1990.
