
Bring unwanted electronics to Verizon Arena today and Thursday for recycling.
The city of Little Rock provides a free drop-off to recycle electronics and household chemicals at 10001 Kanis Road -- the back parking lot of the Little Rock Northwest Police Station at the corner of Jr. Deputy and Kanis Roads.
Hours are 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Thursdays and 7 a.m.-noon the first Saturday of each month.
Electronic items accepted include (but not limited to) computers and monitors, televisions, audio equipment, VCRs, copiers, telephones, and most other electronic equipment.
Household chemicals accepted include (but not limited to) herbicides and pesticides, car batteries, household cleaners, antifreeze, pool chemicals, light bulbs (fluorescent and mercury), motor oil and gasoline.The drop-off location is restricted to household quantities only. All chemicals should be in original container and clearly labeled.
