Candidates for local and state offices will participate in Catfish and Candidates from noon-5 p.m. Sept. 11 at the White County Fairgrounds, 802 Davis Drive, Searcy.
Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. All-you-can-eat catfish will be served until 2 p.m. Candidates will begin speaking at noon.
Tickets are $12 per person through Sept. 8 and can be purchased at the White County Tax Assessor’s Office and Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce. After Sept. 8, ticket prices increase to $15 per person and will be available at the gate on the day of the event.
