Town planner Scott Polikov is the featured speaker at Building a Safe, Clean & Green Downtown, Argenta Downtown Council's third annual luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Friday (Oct. 22) at Wyndham Riverfront, 2 Riverfront Place, North Little Rock.

Polikov, president of Gateway Planning Group, works with communities and developers to harness their growth into walkable mixed-use neighborhoods that focus on form-based codes promoting urbanism, provide for a robust mix of housing types, let the market direct how uses evolve over time, and facilitate transportation choices by designing streets for cars, transit and people.
