Paintings of the Delta by Andy Reed of Memphis are featured at Tobi Fairley Gallery.

The sophisticated, intellectual works of artists Sheila Cotton and Andy Reed will be featured at an opening reception from 6-8 p.m. today (Oct. 21) at Tobi Fairley Gallery, 5507 Ranch Drive, Little Rock.

Cotton, a mid-career artist who divides her time between Arkansas and a winter home in Naples, Fla., works exclusively in oils on canvas. In 2006 she began Antique Arkansas, a series of paintings of ordinary life inspired by her native state and its history. 

A full-time sales position for most of his life has required Reed, who lives in Memphis, to spend time driving through the Delta region, which has been the inspiration for the beautiful paintings he creates.
