The third annual Jazzy Jeans & Jewels, sponsored by The Links Inc., will be held from 7 p.m.-midnight Saturday (June 12) at the Metroplex Event Center, 10800 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock. 

The event features A Taste of Links highlighting food specialties prepared by Links, Connecting Links and Heir-o-Links: Dr. Roosevelt Brown, James Curry, Dr. Charles Donaldson, Dr. Anthony Fletcher, Dr. Lee Frazier, Queah Hebvern, Mary Lee Joshua, Michael Joshua, Thelma Joshua, Dr. Tommy Love, Dr. Monica Love-Delimore, Ricky Mays, Dr. Lee Nayles, Prentice O’Guinn, Gerry Rayford, Rev. Larry Ross, Barry Shackelford, Beverly Sherman, James Slater, Robert Springer, Douglas Woods,and Charles Zeigler.  It will be followed by a Jazzy Jeans contest where awards will be given to the most innovative pairs of jeans worn.

The Links, Inc. is an international service organization comprised of 12,000 professional women of color striving to make a difference in the local, national and global community. Since 1956, the Little Rock Chapter of The Links has focused its efforts on developing the city’s youth, increasing exposure to fine arts, and addressing socioeconomic issues facing minority communities.
