
The Bard Ball is a benefit for the Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre.
Productions of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors and Henry V as well as a couple of non-Shakespeare works -- Dracula (written and directed by Todd Olson, producing artistic director of American Stage Theatre in St. Petersburg, Fla.) and a new adaptation of Alice in Wonderland by Josh Rice and Katie Campbell of the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre -- will be featured at the Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre through July 3.
Performances will be held at the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall, University of Central Arkansas, 201 Donaghey Ave., Conway.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and UCA faculty and staff, $10 for students for the mainstage productions and $10 for all tickets to Alice in Wonderland; Sunday performances will be pay what you can.
The Bard and the Barrel, a private post-show club, will operate on the opening night of Dracula (June 24) and on closing night July 3. Those who purchase a single-night membership for $15 can enjoy food, beverages, and karaoke with the cast.
