Baker Frank gets a pan full of cheese bread ready for the day.

Rosalia's Family Bakery, owned by the folks (Dan and Rosalia Monroe) behind Cafe Bossa Nova, is open at 2701 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock , serving breads, sweets, cookies, cakes and coffees.

The idea for the bakery grew from the popularity of Rosalia’s cheese bread served at Bossa Nova, which prompted the couple to start a bakery where they could share the famed bread and other traditional Brazilian pastries and treats.
