Argenta restaurants are rolling out special $8 two-course lunch menus and $25 three-course dinner prix fixe menus, along with their regular menus, through Jan. 22 during the newly lengthened Argenta Restaurant Week.

Extended to two weeks for 2011, the three-year old celebration is a bi-annual event that showcases the Argenta Arts District in downtown North Little Rock as a premier dining and arts destination.

Participating restaurants include Cornerstone Pub and Grill, Cregeen's Irish Pub, Reno's Argenta Cafe, Ristorante Capeo, Starving Artist Cafe, Riverfront Steakhouse, Benihana and Argenta Market.

Patrons can enter Diner Drawings each time they dine at a participating restaurant during Argenta Restaurant Week. The grand prize winner will receive a Tin Cup-style necklace and earrings with black freshwater pearls valued at $500 from Stanley Jewelers and Gemologist.

Other prizes include three one-night stays at Baker House Bed and Breakfast, two necklaces from Argenta Bead Company valued at $250, a pottery class at Claytime Studios, a $100 gift card to Argenta Market and a $50 gift card for Temenos Publishing. Drawings will be held Jan. 24.
