Crescent Hotel, Eureka Springs
Spend the weekend at the 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa in Eureka Springs during the Eureka Springs Paranormal Weekend Friday-Sunday (Jan. 7-9) at what many say is America’s most haunted hotel.
The mountaintop resort, a popular site for weddings, romantic getaways and family vacations, has become the talk of the paranormal world ever since The Atlantic Paranormal Society claims to have caught on video, using a thermal imaging camera, a full-bodied apparition in the “morgue” of the hotel.
Amateur ghost investigators will find that the Crescent is opening the entire hotel to them, including “active” rooms 218 and 419 plus the morgue, an area used by Norman Baker in the late 1930s for autopsies when he operated the hotel as a cancer curing facility,.
Weekend overnight guests can spend two full nights of searching for the paranormal assisted by a team of ESP professionals. Each day these guests will be able to show and tell their evidence to the ESP team and other guests in special reveal sessions. This will give participants a chance to compare photos, videos and sound recordings.
