
Register for a free art and writing workshop at Laman Library.
A free art and writing workshop, inspired by Ntzoke Shange's For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, will be held from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 23 at Laman Library, 2801 Orange St., North Little Rock.
The workshop will be led by Pulaski Technical College writing instructor and Laman Library Special Projects Manager Paula Morell and Pulaski Tech visual arts instructor Kimberly Kwee.
The writing and visual art created in this workshop will be part of an exhibit in the Mosaic Templar Cultural Center's theater space when Pulaski Tech presents its production of For Colored Girls at The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center on March 17, 18, and 19.
