Abundant color is typical of paintings by Maumelle artist Lori Pilkington Weeks. 

ArtGroup Maumelle member Lori Pilkington Weeks will be painting from 5-8 p.m. today (March 11) in the lobby of Courtyard by Marriott, 521 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, during 2nd Friday Art Night in the River Market.

The hotel offers visitors a complimentary popcorn bar featuring toppings and mix-ins throughout the evening. 

Members of the Arkansas League of Artists will be conducting live artwork demonstrations in the hotel’s event space and will have their works on display for purchase.

Works by the collaborative ArtGroup Maumelle adorn the lobby and other public spaces throughout the 120-room hotel. Artist bios and pricing on the pieces are kept at the hotel’s front desk.
