Lilly's Dim Sum, Then Some, 11121 N. Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, will donate 15 percent of lunch, dinner and takeout sales today (Aug. 8) to The Humane Society of Pulaski County.
The lunch menu, served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday, offers Asian specialties (including Thai mango salsa with grilled shrimp, General Tso's Chicken, dim sum samplers) as well as gazpacho made with locally grown tomatoes and herbs (accompanied with a mixed green house salad for $8). Also available are two Steak Wraps with thinly sliced grilled sirloin, vegetables and Romaine lettuce wrapped in thin tortilla shells, with a side of housemade spicy chili aioli and edamame for $8.
Come to Lilly's after 5 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays and have a glass of wine for $5. Sommelier Nancy Tesmer chooses wines for their individuality and ability to accentuate Lilly's menu. Ask your server for recommendations.
The mission of the HSPC is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals, to reduce suffering of animals, to investigate, prosecute, and prevent abuse and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter and education.
