Ronald's Night of Dancing Stars, named after Ronald McDonald, is a dance competition starring local personalities partnering with professional ballroom dance instructors.

Ronald's Night of Dancing Stars -- a dance competition starring local personalities partnering with professional ballroom dance instructors -- starts with a reception at 6:30 p.m. today (June 2) at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock.

The dancing starts at 7 p.m. There will be live and silent auctions, heavy hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer, and dancing to the music of a live band. KATV's Ned Perme will serve as emcee.

Tickets are $45. Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House.

  • Jay Powell, dentist at Drs. Dacus and Powell Family Clinic and Cosmetic Dentistry
  • Anthony Lucas, second leading receiver in Arkansas Razorback history who played in the National Football League for two years and is facilty coordinator at D1 Sports Training in Little Rock
  • Lt. Jeff Baker, North Little Rock police officer
