The reference department of Central Arkansas Library System's main library will be closed through June 11.

The Central Arkansas Library System's (CALS) reference department is closed through June 11 for remodeling.

The computer lab remains open. Some services may be available; inquire at the Information Desk on the first floor.

Over 100 databases are accessible 24 hours a day via the CALS website. Reference services are available via the Ask-A-Librarian live chat service (9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-6 Saturday) and by calling (501) 918-3000 and live chat. Other floors and departments at the Main Library will be open.

The Main Library is undergoing extensive remodeling including finishing the fifth floor, transferring the nonfiction collection to the fifth floor, building additional meeting rooms, expanding space for fiction, audio visual material and new books, and adding new flooring and a new computer lab.
