John Daly is auctioning off the pants seen here to help St. Jude Children's research hospital.

Golfer John Daly knows how to grab folks’ attention.

But there’s another side of Daly that occasionally gets lost in the long drives, crazy wardrobe and once wild lifestyle.

Daly has a good side and is often working to help charitable causes. The latest example is an eBay auction of a pair of Daly golf pants with proceeds going to help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

Here’s more on the auction for the autographed pair of Daly’s pants (and a matching skort!):

These one-of-a-kind pants were produced under the supervision of John Daly himself with his signature lion logo embroidered in full color and adorned with artwork designed by two patients at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

These super-luxurious slacks were handmade from technical cotton with state-of-the-art moisture wicking, maximum breathability and wrinkle resistance.  These silky smooth brilliantly pastel slacks are high-end throughout.

The pants are size 36 and the skort is size 6. But surely the winner isn’t planning on actually wearing them. Check the bidding here.
