Arkansas Cornbread Festival is happening from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 3) on Main Street between Daisy Gatson Bates Drive and W. 16th St., Little Rock.
It's a competition to determine the best cornbread in Arkansas. Categories include traditional, nontraditional, sweet and best side item. Entries will be judged on flavor, texture, aroma, appearance and creativity.
Vendors will display and sell Arkansas art, handmade crafts, clothes, jewelry, home furnishings, locally-produced food and gifts.
Advance admission to the Cornbread Festival are $7 for adults, $3 for children 6-12 years old, and free for children ages 5 and younger. To purchase click here.
Admission on the day of the event will be $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12, free for those 5 and under.
