Chipotle Mexican Grill, a chain of fast-casual restaurants that started in Denver, Colo. in 1993 and has a location on Dickson Street in Fayetteville, is open near the main entrance of Pleasant Ridge Town Center, 11525 Cantrell Road, Little Rock.
The open-kitchen restaurant, which has around 1,000 locations in the United States, Canada and England, specializes in tacos (with soft or crispy tacos), burritos, burrito bowls and salads with a choice of chicken, pork carnitas, chicken, beef or vegetarian (made with black beans and guacamole).
The price of the items is based on the type of meat chosen: Chicken ($5.95), steak ($6.35), pork carnitas ($6.35), shredded slow-cooked beef barbacoa ($6.35) and vegetarian ($5.95). Toppings include steamed rice with cilantro and lime juice, fajita veggies, pinto beans and black beans.
Additional toppings include four types of salsa (mild to hot), sour cream, grated cheese and chopped Romaine lettuce. Each ingredient is laid out in front of you so you can choose your favorite combination.
The company strives to use local produce including bell peppers, jalapenos, oregano, red onions and lettuce when possible.
