Remember in June when Your Mama's Good Food owner Barbara Stockton said her restaurant wasn't moving?
Well, it is now.
The downtown Little Rock home-cookin' eatery is moving to a 3,400-SF location in the Pyramid Building at 221 W. Second St., where Stockton and her husband, restaurant co-owner Fleming, say they'll have two times the floor space.
The restaurant will open there in late September.
The move puts Your Mama's next door to a Subway franchise, around the corner from Dave's Place and across the street from the hungry investment bankers at Stephens Inc.
The Pyramid property is two blocks away from Your Mama's current location in the Tower Building at 220 W. Fourth St., next door to the Downtown Deli. Your Mama's will turn off the lights there on Aug. 29.
The pending move would certainly account for the wave of various rumors we heard earlier this summer, including the restaurant was closing altogether. Given that scenario, we'd much prefer a move.
