Toric Study #006 (steel, 2006) by Hoss Haley from the collection of John and Robyn Horn

Cast, Cut, Forged and Crushed: Selections in Metal from the John and Robyn Horn Collection is on display through Jan. 15 at the Arkansas Arts Center, Ninth and Commerce streets, Little Rock. 

This exhibition in metal, selected from the John and Robyn Horn Collection, includes works by over two dozen metal artists that reveal the importance of technique in making metal objects. Featured artists include Elizabeth Brim, Hoss Hayley, Tom Joyce, Albert Paley and Rick Smith.

The artists have cut, cast, forged, crushed, burnished and painted diverse materials including aluminum, bronze, copper, iron and steel to make works that hang on walls, sit on pedestals or stand on floors.
