
Komen Race for the Cure in downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock attracts thousands of participants.
Komen Race for the Cure, which will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 22), is a 5K route that starts in downtown Little Rock at Broadway and Second Street, crosses the Arkansas River to North Little Rock and returns to Little Rock with the finish line at Capitol and Broadway.
The theme of this year's event, which is expected to draw 46,000 participants, is Hope Runs on Heroes.
Day of race registration is $30. To register online click here. All funds raised go to breast cancer research, education, screening programs and treatment programs.
