Creative costumes can be found at The Buzz Halloween Bash at Cajun's Wharf.

Halloween isn't just for kids. For those who haven't outgrown their fondness for dressing up as ghouls, goblins, etc., here are some adult costume parties that offer tricks, treats and a good time.

The annual Buzz Halloween Bash at Cajun's Wharf, hosted by Pat Bradley and Matt Couch, starts with registration at 7 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 29), and judging at 8 p.m. A DJ will be spinning dance music in between judging rounds. First-place costume wins $500. For more information click here.

Cregeen's Irish Pub's Halloween Party (301 Main St., North Little Rock), starting at 9 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 29), features drink specials, food, and live music by Plain Meanness of Jonesboro. Dress like your favorite rock star to win prizes of up to $100. Cover charge is $5.

 Exquisite Corpse Annual Literary Journal will celebrate its third year in Arkansas with Profzilla Halloween Bandfest at 8 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 29) at Bears Den Pizza, 235 Farris Road, in Conway. Music will be by the Conway Twitties, Nouveau Normal, The Low Rent Masons, the Boomers and the Ray Bridgemay Band. There will be a costume contest. Admission is $5. Funds raised will help cover shipping expenses of the Exquisite Corpse annual.

The Peabody Little Rock's Boo Bash Halloween party starts at 9 p.m. Oct. 29. DJ Brandon Peck and emcee Epiphany will be keeping the dance floor freaky until 1 a.m. Local celebrities will judge the costume contest, and more than $5,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded. The Halloween Show, presented by the Vagabond Theatre Company, includes a costme contest and prizes. It's going on at 8 p.m. Saturday-Sunday (Oct. 29-30) at Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church, 1601 S. Louisiana St., Little Rock. For more info click here.

Halloween House, designed by the visual and performing artists of the Saline County Arts Project, is going on from 6 p.m.-midnight nightly through Oct. 31 at 2121 Alcoa Road, Benton. It's a drive-by spectacle that features a spooky art installation, guest appearances from celebrity zombies and spine tingling musical entertainment. Admission is free. Tiny Hands Monster Bash, 7-11:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 29) at Next Level Events, 1400 W. Markham St. in Little Rock’s Union Station, offers cocktails, a silent and live auction, hors d’oeuvres and dancing. Costumes are optional, but if you wear one that's amazing, you could win a prize. Tickets are $50 and may be purchased by clicking here or by calling (501) 920-2328. Proceeds benefit the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Family Home and the UAMS Medical Center neonatal intensive care unit.
