Northwestern has won three in a row since a home loss to McNeese State on Oct. 1. • The overall series between the teams is tied 2-2, with all games played since UCA joined the Southland Conference in 2006. • The teams have split 1-1 in both Conway and Natchitoches. GREAT AMERICAN: With a perfect 5-0 record, Ouachita Baptist can claim the league’s first-ever football title this Saturday with a win over Southeastern Oklahoma State. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. in Durant, Okla. • Arkansas Tech travels to Weatherford, Okla., this Saturday for a 2 p.m. contest against Southwestern Oklahoma State, the first meeting between the two squads since 1994. • Arkansas-Monticello travels to Southern Arkansas for a 2 p.m. kickoff. This game is the first meeting between the two squads at a home site since the 2008 season. • Harding, the league’s top scoring team by nearly 100 points, travels to East Central, the GAC’s third best scoring team, for a 2 p.m. start. • Henderson State concludes the non-conference portion of its 2011 schedule this Saturday at home against McKendree University, which is in transition from the NAIA ranks into the NCAA Division II as a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. It will be the first meeting between the two squads on the football gridiron. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
