Yuletide carols performed by area choirs can be heard at the Old State House Museum open house Sunday.
Visitors to the Old State House Museum will find the Greek-revival style building decorated for the season with swags of traditional green garland, wreaths adorned with bright red ribbon and a huge tree hung with gleaming decorations.
The museum, 300 Markham St., Little Rock, is visited by over 700 people each year at its annual Holiday Open House, happening from 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 4).
Fun hands-on activities such as making holiday cards will be available to children. Carols will be performed by Little Rock School District’s Voices Without Borders, Top of the Rock Chorus, St. Edward Catholic Church Children’s Choir, Purpose, UALR Classical Guitar Ensemble, Little Rock Suzuki Guitar, Arkansas Mandolin & Guitar Association and the Arkansas Accordion Association.
Visitors can enjoy punch and cookies donated by central Arkansas bakeries.
Admission is free. For more information call (501) 324-9685.
