A 24-foot spruce tree, adorned with glittering lights and decorative ornaments, sets the stage for a dining experience full of holiday cheer on Christmas Eve from 5-9 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 24) at Ashley's at the Capital, 111 Markham St., Little Rock.

Toast the evening ahead with a sip of eggnog with spiced foam, then enjoy a six-course tasting menu that incorporates classic flavors of the holidays.

This year’s dinner includes turtle soup, charred grill oysters, sorghum roasted duckling, chestnut soup with spiced orange whipped cream, diver scallops with butternut squash au poivre and pear creme brulee (Riesling soaked pear hollowed out and filled with a brulee custard).
