The story of champion boxer Kassim Ouma is told in the documentary Kassim the Dream.

Kassim the Dream will screen at 7 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 7) at Argenta Community Theater, 405 Main St., North Little Rock, as part of the Argenta Film Series with the Little Rock Film Festival.

The documentary tells the story of Kassim Ouma, a child soldier from Uganda who was kidnapped by a rebel army and forced to commit war atrocities, then went on to become a professional boxer in the United States, eventually fighting world champion Jermain Taylor in Little Rock. 

A reception will precede the screening at 6 p.m. Following the screening, director Kief Davidson will discuss his film.
