Ark in the Dark, an exhibition of vintage movie posters about Arkansas, can be viewed at Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, 401 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock.
Included are 35 posters from the collection of Ron Robinson of Little Rock that feature films about Arkansas from 1926 to 2009 along with memorabilia such as programs, tickets, photos, lobby cards, books and more,
Movie posters include The Arkansas Traveler (1938) featuring radio comedian Bob Burns, 1972's The Legend of Boggy Creek, a documentary-style drama about an elusive Arkansas monster, and the 1969 version of True Grit based on the novel written by El Dorado native Charles Portis.
The exhibit continues through Feb. 25.
