Untitled, gouache on paper by Philip Guston, 1958, is part of the exhibit Masters of American Watercolor at the Arkansas Arts Center.

 

Masters of American Watercolor is on display through March 28 at the Arkansas Arts Center, Ninth and Commerce streets, Little Rock.

The exhibition showcases works from the Arkansas Arts Center permanent collection by American artists from the late 19th century to the present that show a variety of content from landscape to abstraction as well as gouache and tempera on paper.

Members of the Mid-Southern Watercolorists have written interpretations for each of the works in the show.
