
Plans for replacing the Broadway Bridge are the topic of a public meeting from 4-7 p.m. today in North Little Rock.
Lots of people have strong opinions about proposals for replacing the Broadway Bridge between Little Rock and North Little Rock. If you're one of them, you might want to come to a public involvement meeting to discuss plans for the bridge.
It will be held from 4-7 p.m. today (Feb. 7) in the training room of the Arkansas Transit Association building, 620 W. Broadway, in North Little Rock, according to the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.
A proposed project will construct a new bridge and ramps to replace the existing Broadway Bridge. The project is scheduled to be let to contract in 2013. Conceptual drawings, project estimates and aerial photos of the project location will be on display at the meeting.
