Your Arkansas movie memorabilia could be part of an exhibit at the Old State House opening April 26, 2013.

Do you have a Hollywood connection? Scripts, costumes, props, photos, film clips, recordings, set pieces -- you name it -- are sought for a major exhibit on Hollywood's relationship with Arkansas that will open April 26, 2013 at the Old State House Museum, 300 W. Markham St., Little Rock.

If you have movie memorabilia from the many films that have been made in Arkansas -- among them The Last Ride (2010), Under Siege (1986), War Eagle, Arkansas (2007), White River Kid (1998), The Firm (1993), Come Early Morning (2006), Shotgun Stories (2007), Stone Cold (1991), Sling Blade (1996), A Face in the Crowd (1956) and Biloxi Blues (1988) -- or objects that have a connection to Arkansas residents who have gained fame in the movie industry, the Old State House Museum hopes you might consider loaning or donating them for the exhibit, which will be on display for 18 months.

Relics from TV shows such as Evening Shade (1990-1994), Designing Women (1986-1993), and the first season of The Simple Life (2003-2004) are also needed.

The exhibit will include items from the Old State House Museum’s permanent collection and objects contributed by other museums and entertainers. The goal is to create a comprehensive exhibit of Arkansas-related entertainment scripts, costumes, and memorabilia.

Along with being on display at the exhibit, artifacts loaned to the museum will be photographed for use in exhibit-related publications and educational resources.
