Greg Thompson Fine Art, 429 Main St., North Little Rock, will host the opening of its annual group exhibition of Southern art from 5-8 p.m. Friday (May 18) in conjunction with Third Friday Art Walk in the Argenta Arts District of North Little Rock.

The show, which continues through July 10, features works by Carroll Cloar, William Dunlap, Walter Anderson, Theora Hamblett, Glennray Tutor, Pinkney Herbert, William Hollingsworth, Robert Rector, Philip Morsberger, Ed McGowin, Ed Rice and others.

Also at Third Friday Art Walk: Ketz Gallery, 705 Main St., North Little Rock, will hold a reception from 5-8 p.m. for A Worn Path -- Southern Reflections, an exhibit of landscapes of rural Arkansas and outdoor scenes by Cheri Peden of Searcy, some of them painted on antique ceiling tins.
