While we're not so sure about love at first sight when it comes to humans (or vampires and werewolves, for that matter), we believe it's quite possible with boutiques and shops, especially those in Hillcrest and the Heights, and specifically Bella Boutique.

Packed with lotions and potions, bubble baths, candles, cosmetics and even dainty, unique jewelry, Bella Boutique is a refuge for women who love to pamper themselves (or lavish their friends) with pretty, sweet-smelling things.

We first traipsed inside after being lured by a fabulous sidewalk sale, and our heart has remained true ever since. We like how owner Narcissa Jackson knows us when we come in, and we appreciate how she recommends products she knows we'll love.

We can't get enough of Bella Boutique's line of Mor intoxicating and decadent candles, creams and bath products, their Tokyo Milk glosses, their stock of Kiehl's must-haves, and our beauty arsenal staple, Smith's Rosebud Salve. And their sparkly little gems are just icing on the cake.
