Breakfast at Terry's

Chef Patrick at Terry's Finer Foods needed something to do while awaiting the opening of the grocery's full-service restaurant (coming soon), so he's cooking breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday.

You'll find him behind the meat counter, preparing eggs and bacon, sausage and biscuits, and sometimes items like eggs Benedict on Saturdays. There isn't a menu as such — simply tell him what you have in mind and he'll take it from there. Order at the counter and pay at the checkout — cost of a full breakfast is around $6.20.

You can have a seat at the tables in the store or get your order to go. If you get there after 10:30 a.m., the chef is preparing hot and cold sandwiches the rest of the day.
